9 Big improvement over Origins, which was already good! LightningStrikes posted... Franky I think the demise of the cutscene heavy cinematic action adventure game is simply that they are expensive to make.We did get three in the last year, with Alan Wake 2, Final Fantasy XVI, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. 9.5 Weird decision to essentially put Origins in with it but I'm not complaining Unbelievable game, one of my favourite ever 2D games. I'll revise it to say "there probably hasn't been a better 2D platformer since it came out" or "in the last 20 years". Sonic Mania? Nah, I played it, it was fine but any love I have for Sonic doesn't extend beyond S3&K. Celeste is right up there and in the conversation. The latter two are much longer games, though. See, Id not count Dragon Age as thats more of a big RPG, even XVI is more like that though a little more borderline. Was thinking more of the 10-25 hour size of game. Alan Wake II does fit the bill though of course that was done on a lower budget. --- I just decided to change this sig. Blaaaaaaargh azuarc ...
