Here we go! After four months of preliminaries, we've narrowed it down to our final 128 -- now to narrow it down to the single best Pokemon.

You all know how this works, I've run enough of these damn tournaments. Vote for your favorite of the two Pokemon presented; the winner will move on in the bracket, the loser gets to stay in a PC Box for all eternity.

Rounds last 24 hours, give or take; sometimes I'm not always at my computer right on time, or have to post the next one a little early so I can move on to other parts of my day. It might also happen that I'm not able to post the next round on time at all, but I'll at least end the poll if I'm able to in that case.

If there's a tie that refuses to break, it will be decided with a quick Lightning Round. I'll go over what that entails if and when it comes up.

Corviknight is probably one of the best Gen 8 mons. If not the best. Like him more than Skarmory too.

Both are cool, but I like the goofy golden string cheese mascot a bit more

Corviknight is everything a pokemon should be. A creature that blends well with the fantastical theme assigned to it, in design, lore, and mechanics.

gholdengo is the worst pokemon ever made

Corviknight is an excellent Pokmon.

Just a personal opinion but I think goldengo is kinda lame, though I understand why people would like it. I just think corviknight is one of the best designed pokemon. Probably my favorite flying type.

I stopped playing after Gen 7, so I have no particular attachment to the other bird, but holy shit the gold guy is bad bad. The bird at least looks like a Pokmon.

This is a really dud round, but I can understand the appeal of each. I chose Gholdengo out of SV favoritism.

its prevo possesses an old timey chest with an unusual single-strap buckle down the middle. The evo keeps the chest, but stretches the belt out to use as a kind of fanny pack.

It's to carry his mobile home around. String Cheese Man grew up in that chest and now he carries it with him. It does kind of muck up the design a bit though.

Corviknight is a great design, one of the better ones from recent gens.

Gholdengo may very well be the worst Pokmon ever. I'm trying to think of one I hate more, but I can't at the moment.

Gholdengo is . . . quite bizarre, annoying to obtain, and a bit OP.

Corviknight by far. Best early bird in the series for me. And i do not like Gholdengo at all so eh.

Actually a tough round. But I never got Gholdengo in game and I have a lvl 100 Corviknight from my Sword and shield file so that I guess.
