Assassins Creed - never thought I'd be more on edge being the hunter rather than the hunted, but that's how it felt

Mass effect - Playing as the other races with different powers was really the shit. And when the Paladin class came out? Man. Should've really been fleshed out more in Andromeda to include missions.

Dragon age - This was great when they added dragon bosses, but by then it was already dying.

Man, I loved Mass Effect 3's multiplayer... I think i played it way more than the base game

Dead Space 2 IIRC actually had a multiplayer mode.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Player 2 is Tingle. People talk all of the time about how much Wind Waker HD improved, but the fact that it took this away is truly a shame.

Mass Effect 3

Assassin's Creeds multilayer modes were absolutely delightful. It was basically hide and seek but with more murder. It may have been a bit tacked on but I absolutely loved it.

And speaking of tacked on, I wasted many an hour with the Dead Space 2 multilayer. Very much tacked on, unbalanced as hell and dead within a few weeks but I had my fun with it.

JRPGs that let Player 2 control a party member or two during combat

I rarely play online. I mean RARELY. I pretty much detest multiplayer. Some of the most fun I ever had though was the Ghostbusters game on PS3 that was so damn good in both single player and multi-player.

It had legit voice casting and was written by Dan and Harold. The multi-player was full of fans of the franchise both old and young who were there to actually have fun, work together, and just have a good time. It was super fun and it was pretty damn good to me.

Lost Planet. Great balance between mechs and on foot gameplay.

Perfect Dark Zero's multiplayer was fantastic. But the reason it didn't enough love is because the single-player game itself justifiably didn't.

Call of Duty 3

Cutting the ME3 multiplayer from the Legendary edition was probably top 3 worst decisions they made.

I don't even like online multiplayer and I dug the shit out of it.

1 Krogan Battlemaster + 3 flavors of Volus was the dumbest shit I'd ever seen and absolutely incredible.

I thought Batman Arkham Origins had pretty neat multiplayer.

Driver San Francisco was also really fun during the brief window where it was actually active.

Resistance: Fall of Man. This was the era of when people kept saying ps3 online was bad, but that game was a shining example of extremely fun multi-player.

guardian heroes! The main game is awesome. Straight up. That multiplayer is so cool though! The arena feels like such a great fighter, similar to smash brothers.

TLOU had great multiplayer from what I've heard.

Also Dark Souls invasions is still such a unique style that hasn't been replicated with half the quality yet.

Secret of mana and trials of mana.

Fun alone. Better with friends. Shame the trials remake didn't have multiplayer.

The Last of Us had solid multiplayer

Once you open up the tank and on foot options, it's a constant game of Rock-Paper-Scissors and it's fantastic.

Invasions are basically just MMO world PVP, so I kinda disagree.

God I wish From would design their netcode around areas that aren't Japan, I remember when DS3 was still new someone made a video showing how insanely precise everything was in PVP when there was basically no lag like japan to japan connections, it was a night and day difference compared to how it is for literally everyone else.

Oh yeah. My entry is Sly Cooper 3's multiplayer. It's not the greatest, but it's pretty fun for what it is.

Banjo Tooie and DK64 had a better fps multiplayer than GoldenEye and Perfect Dark

The Krogen Vanguard character was absolutely broken. And the Geth Hunter was the other class I loved because of its damage output. My brother was always the Geth Prime and that Vorcha with the flame thrower.

Mass Effect 3's multiplayer was better than its campaign. I put in a disgusting amount of time into it.

San Andreas

Star Fox Assault. There are a surprising number of unlockables and has a considerable amount of multiplayer content compared to 64. I never played Zero as I was not a Wii U owner.

Saint's row 1 (protect da pimp) and last of us' factions are the main two that springs to mind.

Almost forgot about conker's bad fur day. Me and my friends+family had mad fun with that game's MP. The xbox remake's new multiplayer was ok (personally I just ran around as the assassin alot), but that N64 original got a lot of playtime from us.

Man, ME 3 and Andromeda multiplayer was so fucking good.

I loved the batarian soldier. Just turbo punching the fuck out of people.

My favorite of all has to be the tales of series. God DAMN did I love me some tales of multiplayer.

I had the playstation 1 multi-tap so I used to set up tales of destiny 2/eternia on 4 players. I'td be using max, my brother would be on farah, one of my nephews would be using reid and his little bro would be on keel, meredy or chat. Get that combo command accesory equipped that changes your artes to street fighter style inputs. Boy we played the hell out of this game, lol.

I also did at least 1 playthrough with 4 players on tales of symphonia (the camera was asssss but we made it work with me as player 1 sticking to kratos/zelos on heal duty so the camera doesn't move and the occasional combo when we start stomping the boss), tales of the abyss, and vesperia. Played through a good bit on graces F on 3 players, but with tales of xillia and how the tag feature worked that was best with just 2.

We need MP capable tales of back.

And it doesn't make any sense, either. You have something built into the Wii U that could easily replicate the GBA functionality. How do you not do that?!
