Having a hell of a time getting a serious seller on FB Marketplace (they all feel like fake listings), so I'm considering cutting out the middleman and buying new. Looking to play things like V Rising, BG3, Elden Ring and other similar rpgs and ARPGs on the go or on vacation/in bed. I've also considered buying a 500gb model and swapping the HD for 2TB, but I'm not very hardware savvy and worry about breaking it. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's very easy to switch out the SSD if you do end up doing that. Just watch out if you have an SD card inserted. You have to take it out before removing the back. That being said, my 1TB OLED model is great. I'd recommend it. --- Many Bothans died to bring you this post. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I just bought the 500 GB LCD model, and I think this is going to be awesome even though ive only played it for like 2 hours total, so I'd say the better screen(This LCD is going to need wiped down like every 2 days) and whatever bells and whistles the OLED model has would be worth it. Just make sure you do research into what games will work on it. That's a big issue you could run in to if some of your favorites either won't work or won't work well. I have enough games that work on it, I don't mind the ones that do not. ... Copied to Clipboard!

You can use SD cards to expand your space. I think it's capped at 100MBs though no matter what card you use. I found the steam deck to be far better than I expected it to be. --- Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I got the Rog Ally X instead like two weeks ago and I freaking love it. I havent had a steam deck so I cant comment on them specifically but in addition to BG3 and Elden ring and stuff like that Im playing Im also playing WOW with a console port mod and playing that on the go now --- Typical gameFAQers are "Complainers that always complain about those who complain about real legitimate complaints."-Joker_X ...
