Suicide-based suspensions are meant as an administrative tool to prevent people from egging suicidal users on. The ratio of people that are able and capable of helping a person in that situation vs people who could cause them to spiral and take drastic actions is....not ideal. In a perfect world where nobody was an ass to each other, sure it wouldn't be necessary. But we're not in that world, sadly.

Your ban was outright unjust horseshit.

If they tag your alt that's even worse.

And the admins wonder why nobody fucking trusts them.

oh, this is what I wanted to say in the other topic.

if you haven't tried it, look into jobs working in nursing home kitchens. they require zero experience, are almost always hiring, and usually you can eat for free during your shift. my job is one of the exceptional few, but we feed all staff who want it lunch every day, and the kitchen employees usually have the opportunity to take leftovers home because we don't really use any leftover food

it's also a pretty easy job. make sandwiches/salads, put stuff on trays, clean, and do dishes. that's it, same routine every day.

it was a nice perk tbh but he gotten fired because of a BS reason (they wanted to rid of him because my grandfather lived there).

I would definitely recommend it.

it obviously depends on the place, but back when I was just a cook and not a manager I made sure any of my shift's staff who wanted food got it, and there were plenty of leftovers.

in the US at least the certifications are only required for cooks/shift supervisors and managers. the dietary aides and dishwashers could literally just be 16 year olds hired the day before

nursing homes don't have servers

they have feed-assists and CNAs, which are an entirely different department and not part of the kitchen at all

and the assisted living places I've worked at didn't require food handler certifications for people serving in the dining room either. that should only be for the people actually preparing the food.
