I had an idea that one of big console makers would potentially switch to Intel with the interesting technologies they've been making but it seems there struggles recently might have messed up their chances at that opportunity ... Title is overstated IMO. Intel was considered as a bidding competitor, but among other issues the PS6 would've been unlikely to have backward compatibility and probably wouldn't even be cheaper than AMD.
