iirc, Ross was kicked off of Twitch, and is now on Kick(?)

That the hell is happening at 25-30 seconds in? It looks like a green screen effect.

Is this real life? Like it is Trump so any stupid thing is possible but this scene seems like some idea dreamed up by somebody using an AI generator.

Nah, it's just the suit jacket going over the chair. Seems like the camera was zooming at the same time and it was a weird illusion.

so, idk if the stream is legit or not, but I assumed it was because it was being talked about on social media for weeks beforehand, I think.

here's a YouTube channel that's showing it live

he's known for hosting rappers on his streams, but somewhere along the line, he became red-pilled, looking up to people like Andrew Tate, being a Trump supporter, etc.

he became too problematic for Twitch, so they deplatformed/demonetized him, but I could be wrong on that end.

Yeah, thats exactly what happened. And saying he looked up to Tate is underselling it. I dont think there was any other content creator (aside from maybe Sneako) that glazed Tate as much as Adin did, to the point where he basically changed his identity to Andrew Tate Jr.

I'll be honest, this is what Harris needs to be doing.

Trump seems to just whore himself out infinitely, and as a politician, that's how you win, by being everywhere. Dems for some reason, especially the ones over 50 seem to hate doing things. AOC streamed a few times on Twitch, playing games with other leaders across the world. It was cool and fun, seeing them answer questions about politics and what hurdles you have.

It's a market that not enough politicians accept. Sorta like social media. Jesus christ, it took jumping through hoops to get many in Congress online.

I never know streamers but only recognize this name from a previous topic where he paid some rapper Ive never heard of a couple million dollars and the guy showed up way late, was gifted a bag of cash with a million up front in it. Hung out for like 5 minutes, answered 0 questions and then left.

I was like people enjoy watching content like this? I honestly just dont get it.

Back in the day thats one of the things Bill Clinton embraced when I was in high school during that 92 year. He went on MTV and really interacted with a generation of the youth voters that had been largely ignored previously. Then he went on Arsenio Hall and played saxophone and it actually felt genuine. I still think in my lifetime he was one of the few people who was able to drop the suit and tie and be able to come off as relatable to run for President.

He just was able to connect with people. Definitely way better than Hilary ever was able to. But its not something a lot of people really seem to do much of and you would think they would.

Ok maybe not Hilary but what about Obama?

Obama had a definite charisma. It also helped that like Clinton he was relatively young for President. Still in his 40s and among the 5 youngest I believe when first elected. I still never got the feeling he connected as much as Clinton. He did seem relatable just not to the degree Clinton came off.

Clinton seemed 100% natural when he was going into McDonalds in 1992 in a t-shirt and jogging shorts. Sure other politicians eat like that but they always feel like staged press photos and at most they take off their suit jacket and still have that perfect shirt and tie. Just always felt different.

When Obama went onto a more relatable talk shot it still felt a little stiff and scripted. When Clinton went on it felt more like he was there to have fun and it wasnt an obligation that was on his schedule.

Thats the best way how to describe it as it appeared to me. Others may feel differently.

Basically. It was intentionally made to be a competitor that had some older features that Twitch used to have. But it also had a mass exodus of people who got banned from Twitch, so it's pretty much largely turned into a right-wing outlet.

I followed some streamers who tried Kick at first, and liked the interface, but dropped it due to its reputation.

but yea, it's generally people who can't stream from Twitch anymore, from what I've seen.

It was created to funnel user towards their crypto gambling site Stake, it happened to also attract streamers banned from other platforms because of the lack of moderation.
