Also remember, these same people are vehemently opposed even to assisted suicide (which... to be fair, you probably can't compare abortion to since the fetus isn't consentually killing itself via its own power, nor does it possess the cognitive ability to consent/sign a document. So yeah, this instance would be more comparable to euthanasia, but the autonomy of the mother and her body must be taken into consideration. People arent allowed to have an abortion after they learn the pregnancy is nonviable. Thats got to be really rough on the mother, to still be pregnant with a baby you know isnt going to make it. The statistic you really want which will be much harder to get, are there pregnancies where the doctor thought the baby was nonviable but they were wrong and the child lived. --- "Something's wrong!
