If this was a pure popularity contest instead of seeing the random bandwagon win now and again it would get boring very fast. Theres a reason Marche is a living legend.

Marche is the wrong example for your point. He didn't use a million trades he had people supporting him legitimately (as a joke or out of protest or whatever)

Steiner was the trades champion which yeah I don't care if that never happened. Only Chris and sycophants look back fondly on that.

This reminds me that I'd like to get Rasler into this contest at some point.

It's not too late to get Steiner an unrallied championship.

Rasler Heios Nabradia is a deeper cut than Reks or Gabranth... heck that might be a more niche interest than Isaaru or Ghido even! Does he have more than 5 minutes of in-game screen time? He's only in two cinematic cutscenes, no? I think if you were to successfully get him through nominations you'd struggle twice as hard as you are currently doing with Lord Braska just to get him through boots without losing another character you like more, but I commend you for your spirit!

I know Ashe would vote for Rasler, at least.

Rasler is not the most niche FFXII character, even if you only include characters currently in this contest right now :O

Also Ghido is not niche, he's an important character to FFV's plot!

Wouldnt have even remembered who Rasler was if it wasnt for the last few posts. Cant remember what he looks like at all from memory

I don't even know the XIV version of Rasler, but I imagine Rasler B'Nargin Dalmasca would perform better than Rasler Heios Nabradia simply by being grouped in with the other characters from that game. I'm not really keen to test that theory though.
