Like in a "I thought we were friends" situation, which I like to think we're at least work friends.

In the sense that everyone at work but me got something.

Work friends and friends made from work are 2 separate things.

I would consider everyone at work a work friend, however a lot of them have this large clique where they go out to eat and hang out into the early morning hours at IHOP.

Would I like to be invited? Sure, I enjoy their company and it would be nice to hang with them outside of work. Am I offended? No, I know it's not a personal slight against me, I recognize that they have a stronger bond than they do with me and that's ok.

As long as they don't dislike/dread seeing me at work that's all I really need and all anybody should really need from work friends.

The next time you go on vacation get everyone a gift except them.

I wouldnt be

All they are to me are work people and they come and go

Never.

if they got everyone but you a gift, dont be offended, Be the better person

And either do the same to them when you go on vacation, Or DO actually get them a gift and use it to guilt them
