I wonder how long Rifts will stay up. Since they have some (small) story content.
Anyway, my plan is to try to finish this BP and then... sit on the Gleamium hoping they'll do a quality of life change to it to make getting XP easier before I get a new one. Because I definitely hate this grind. All these stupid challenges that require specific characters and specific outfits and playing four different modes to clear tick me off. --- Okay, I rolled a 14. Well either way, I already maxed out the pass. While I'm aware that leveling up again gets you a tiny amount of currency, its not really worth grinding The rifts out either, so I'm gonna still do minimum regardless

HOW THE FUCK DO I APPROACH IN THIS GAME I'M LOSING MY MIND. Like why does anyone ever approach in this game? Just sit back and let your opponent get into one of their long stupid attacks, walk to the left slightly, and then punish them. You're just staring at each other until someone attacks and they're in the disadvantage. Or they double jump above you and do a down attack. Did I miss something or did they make this last event literally impossible without paying for certain characters and skins? All the other events have had just enough missions to complete it without needing the specific skins or characters they want. The fact that so many of these mission points are uncompleteable because of glitches really annoys me. And they STILL haven't fixed the free shop item being unclaimable after all this time. I kind of wish the error message said specifically "You need to turn on Steam Overlay to buy shop items" instead of "Zoinks! No overlay!" which meant absolutely nothing to me and was really confusing. When it comes to the missions sometimes when I try to claim them I just get an error message and they don't get claimed. Honestly I don't even know if that's going to be possible because you might not be able to level up your gems enough without the daily rewards. The higher tier rift difficulties are locked behind higher level gems but not sure there's enough XP to do it but idk. --- skull ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yea I am utterly defeated heres the thing, I stopped playing for like a week or so, week and a half to two weeks tops There is NO way that missed XP would've gotten me to where I needed to be. I think This was an impossible task to begin with and the only way is if you actually buy the badge XP at the store. Which I think this was all a ploy to get people to do that from the beginning And not only that, Alot of the difficulty tiers within the rifts are just closed. Yes there are some with gem level requirements but there are other ones that never open, and you can't even look at the prerequisites for them either, you cannot select them. Out of the 5 difficulties, in some rifts, only like 2 are available at all going in, I figured I could beat easy, and then beat like one or two more for each rift and MAYBE one of the Gem level ones for a few of the rifts and maybe ignore other ones. but no, not enough of them are open to begin with This game beat me and the funny thing is, all of this for AGENT SMITH. what sucks is yea, Samurai Jack is fucking awesome, and they beat me there too, they piqued my interest. The only reason I was able to get him is because I coerced a friend to help me otherwise I wouldn't have either. I'd rather they do it this way as opposed to locking missions behind having certain skins. Played a few games with Jack and he's not feeling great. He's a little slow and clunky and he seems to have a lot of whiff on his moves (a first for Multiversus?). Some of his moves like his down air also have some really strange hitboxes. It hits so far away from him but he does have an air down special to make up for it. He feels a little too fair so far in a game where everyone is unfair so we'll see. Shes such a pain. All of her moves are active for long and with basically 0 whiff recovery I can never punish her. And her slide I can't punish because her hitbox is so tiny when she's sliding. Really losing patience with this game and every game turning into dodging into jab spam. Sam Jack has insane range on his jab so he's wrecking everything right now. This game desperately needs more mechanics like shield and grab. Just makes me wonder why I'm trying to get good at this game instead of just going back to playing a real fighting game like Tekken or SF. Jack is good but not unbeatable by any means. I'm winning most of my games against him. Almost every Jack spams the side special so much it's easy to just bait and punish it. Since you only get a handful of dodges until you enter burnout, at the top level the game is all about baiting dodges out in a way you can punish, or, failing that, baiting enough of them that you force the opponent into burnout and take advantage. If you're constantly rushing in guns blazing you'll definitely hit a wall in your wins. From what I've played as Jack so far, he seems to have a fair amount of whiff lag, so if you can space correctly, it's not terribly hard to get into an advantage state, and since he's a relatively large body it's easy to keep him disadvantaged or hit some nasty combos. --- Formerly ff6man. ... My problem is baiting and dodging through my opponent's attack, trying to punish, and then getting hit by them because somehow they recover faster out of whiff than I do out of dodge. Or I still get hit by their original attack anyway because the range on their jab is longer than my dodge. Or they side switch mid jab combo and still hit me on the other side anyway. Or their jab hitbox is so large that it hits me BEHIND them and they don't even need to side switch.
