Wonder Woman is the only character that I absolutely hate playing against. It's not even just that she's good, it's just such a struggle to fight her. Even if I win against her I don't feel good because the battle was so frustrating.

This game is really, really frustrating with how jank it is. The wonder women event just straight up stopped doing anything for me. It won't give me my 3rd day login for the banana guard event. Plus tons of bugs and issues in general in almost every area of the game. It's a shame too because I quite enjoy the gameplay.

Dayum, WW's lasso got nuked lol

I feel like the Banana Guard side special nerf was extremely justified.

It's nice to know that any Rift stage could end in a disconnect undoing anything I'd accomplished.
Also, got the Joker after trying him in training mode.

I bought Velma because of all the detective requirements plus she's the only character with a free Joker T. I don't really like her much so oof.

I have a weekly to play on Townsville that won't register. And then I've got other weekly's that are just impossible for me unless I spend money. Jfc.

Hadnt run into this much before but Morty seems to be a pretty good anti-Banana pick. Only particularly good option BG has against him is f air and sometimes air down special. Morty shuts down the ground game completely and can easily get away if he gets close

I didnt even realize until now after playing like ten matches with him that Banana Guard got nerfedfelt pretty much the same to me

I think it's safe to say at this point if they claim to have fixed something, just assume the opposite of that is true.

So I just tried out The Joker in the training room and wtf are his controls? Like half his attacks feel like they should be on different buttons. Like for instance, why is neutral attack and forward special not switched? It would make soooo much more sense that way, that's it's insane that this is what they went with.

Yeah, I hate that. A lot of the attacks in this game are weirdly mapped and don't feel natural like Smash does. There are a lot of "special" attacks that feel like normals, and a few normal attacks that seem like they should be Specials instead.

Like, why is Bugs Bunny's down-normal his projectile? And when you pull it out as an item you have to press down-normal again to throw it instead of just having it be a normal throw command. It messes with my brain too much.

not wrong but Bugs has so many other good buttons (almost all of them) you can just never use down-normal and be fine

Yeah it's great when you accidentally stock a pie as Bugs and then forget about it and mess up your next down air.

Yeah the special and regular attack buttons seem to be treated interchangeably. It's odd.

I feel this way about most of their Up specials. They sometimes are just a swing or an unremarkable attack that goes upwards and its like, was that an alternate animation for their up attacks? Theres nothing "SPECIAL" about them

I was playing this Morty and he beat me first match

I came back and won the second match

I was on my way to winning hte third match

my special attacks went dead

Nothing worked

just normal attacks

THEN my normal attacks went dead

there was no way I could attack him anymore. I just gave up

then I tried to go to PVE and the game was like "LOL you have no characters go buy some"

what the FUCKING SHIT

I restarted the game and it works now but I cannot believe how bad this game shit on itself. It has never been this bad before

this game is now on my shit list, this is unforgivable. I hate when the game is SO BAD that it takes your control away. Fortnite is another one where the game just stops working and you can't do anything

I'm close to dropping this now

Yeah.

The thing is, because Smash Bros. gameplay is so solid, it's still fun to play. The online being smoother and better is such a huge deal. But the actual game design is awful. It's literally only being held up because the core gameplay, which they didn't make, is so good.

Finally got it jfc. It took 20+ matches to get Townsville(Dexter's Lab in actuality, yay bugs) just 2 times. I'm not sure how many it actually took because it only shows the last 20 so it could have been 30 for all I know.

After playing a ton more PVP, I've also come to realize how weird and inconsistent hit-boxes are as well.

A trick you can use for map missions is Rift Mode works for them so if you can find a node on X map you can just use it for the missions to get them done quick.

Okay, this game's turning into hot garbage for me. Half the matches I get in crash in a "sync error" now.

I don't think I recall seeing DL in any of them and I've done every level in them at least twice, some three times.

Thanks for the hint, I haven't had a stage mission yet but I shall bear that in mind!

Speaking of rifts, the new one has some interesting stuff in it - a battle on a new stage based on the Animaniacs water tower, a boss battle against Dexter in a giant robot, and a battle against Iron Giant. That last one is interesting because he was taken off the playable roster temporarily, but he's still in as an opponent. Part of me was wondering if the game would crash or throw up loads of garbage data like MissingNo from trying to load a non-existent character, but nothing as dramatic as that happens!

The game is on thin ice for me but I will say

I do like how the weeklies transfer over from week to week instead of just expiring

nah I think they just disabled him from being picked but IG's data is still probably within the game

Iron Giant was just removed "temporarily" because he had multiple infinites and touch of death combos that were all braindead easy. He was absurdly overpowered

So it's fine if he's in rifts cause computers arent gonna abuse that

Wait does the game not give WW for free now? In the beta Im almost 100% sure she was unlocked by default, thats why I have her

hell no, she was in my first rotation of characters but that was it. shes been gone for awhile

Shaggy's moves come out surprisingly slow. Learned that in my first PVP match.

They brought the daily login event back and extended it another 12 days. So I was able to finish the last day and get the Superman skin (that I'll never use)
