Looks like CE just got LUE'd.

I haven't been on this site in years but IIRC CE was basically a tamer version of LUE.

With politics getting more heated as time goes on, I imagine they got sick of moderating it.

I assume CE is more active, but the topics here are much nicer. The topics on CE are very negative and lead to a lot of trolling, I'm sure it's only getting worse now that political discussion is allowed only on CE.

I think AceMos got back in after PMing DToast but according to another member it took weeks and many tries for it to happen.

Another member said hello in a CE topic just the other week after being on a six month purg.

So it can happen but it is very rare.

what i miss about CE is the same thing i missed about 261 which is just getting headlines about current events. the takes and commentary from users are what it is and arent taken seriously by me but i could get a diverse spread of what is going on at least.

Although one mod called my offense 'transphobic speech' which is not true, he clearly didnt read the context of the msg to see it wasnt directed at anyone, and even the poster right before me who said something DIRECTLY ABOUT ME didnt get modded.

They are obviously trying to run the good posters off the boards.

Which means they need to take down the site. When you get rid of a board like that, the posters mostly stay, but just go to other boards. Meaning they arent actually solving a problem. They are just moving the problem around while keeping the problem alive I would hope they understand that

EvilResident has been suspended, again. This will not look well for his chances to get back into CE any time soon.

I heard that AceMos was on a purg when CE was locked down. She was eventually allowed access again, though the process in getting so was slow.

I think DToast is being very cautious with allowing people to access CE again after the debacle of letting Tails back in, as well as coping a lot of backlash for a few other accounts he has let in who didn't meet the karma requirements to access CE.

EvilResident now has fuck all chance of getting back in. If he is put back on purg it will be I think his second and with a purg staying on your account for upto a year he has got no chance of getting back in.

Do you know what he was suspended for?

I agree I think DToast is being more cautious about who he is letting back in to CE and I said myself that AceMos' process of getting back in was very slow.

I do not know what he was suspended for this time, but I hope for his sake the suspension is overturned. If he goes back into purgatory it'll likely be a 6 month jaunt given he only just got off a 2 month stint a couple of days ago.

It certainly seems out of character for him, that's for sure.
