While just over three-quarters of the Southern California listings in the Apartments.com survey did come with refrigerators, that probably overstates the case. The data were limited to complexes with 20 or more units, and property managers say that the most frequent fridge-less apartments are smaller buildings owned by mom-and-pop landlords. One property manager said about half of the 500 units hes responsible for in L.A. do not provide the appliance. I have no idea why this is a thing, it's not even really California specific, I don't think I've ever seen an apartment without a fridge up here in the Bay Area. I would never move if I had to lug a fridge around with me, fuck that --- http://www.last.fm/user/PigBun CEO of Antifa ... Copied to Clipboard!

No refrigerator is pretty odd. I was looking for apartments in Evansville years ago and none of them had clothes washers or dryers, even though every unit had hook ups available. But when I moved to Indy all had washer/dryer units included.
