Pepsi is absolutely incredible.... if you don't buy the American version of it. Mexican/Newfoundland Pepsi is next level, but we use real sugar instead of whatever Americans put in it.

Had no idea what Big Red was and had to google it. It is listed as being Southern and dips into Kentucky and Indiana but it is mostly a regional Texas drink.

So yeah that one because most people won't know what it is and the description of the flavor and type of cream soda it is sounds gross to me.

Ditto same here but I used wikipedia.

I too voted for it because I had never heard of it.

To the ones saying Fanta. If was just the orange flavour I would agree with you but here in Britain we have a flavour of Fanta called Fruit Twist and it is a fantastic drink. I would miss it if Fanta was gone.

This one may not be as obscure as you think; I've seen it all the way over here in NZ. (On the other hand, never heard of Big Red before this topic.)

If we collectively keep Root beer, Dr. Pepper is superfluous. Never heard of big red but it sounds good.

Coke or Pepsi makes the most logical sense, since its still allowing for a major cola brand to exist, not to mention RC and other smaller brands.

It's an acquired taste unless you're actually from the States, since it's a literal root elixer that's been carbonated most foreign nationals think it tastes like medicine or something (which is odd because most of them drink tea, which tastes like dirt.)
If you go to an area where a bunch of American soldiers are stationed like Okinawa, you'll find people that enjoy it (supposedly one of the few places in Japan that serves it.)

The "appeal" of Big Red is that it's the cheapest 2 liter of pop that you can get in most non-Walton stores. Big Red isn't great but I'll take it over any flavor of Fanta any day. Might as well drink fucking tonic if you're gonna mess with that.

I've always wondered if Big Red was just red hummingbird nectar that you can buy at stores but carbonated. They definitely look similar.
