I've been burned out since Thor 2 - when I saw the formula they were going for. Didn't help that for a long, LONG time, none of my favourite characters appeared. No Punisher, no Green Goblin, no Sabretooth, no Mephisto, no Nightcrawler, nothing. So for a big stretch they weren't even making films about characters I cared about at all. And then they did the Spider-Man movies and just had to make him a teenager, so I didn't want to watch those films either.
