Without just being like "It's a bad movie!". Like, as a Batman fan this is the only one that I didn't have any problems with while watching. I know it doesn't have Heath Ledger in it, and it might not be perfect sure, but this is a really good movie. --- I've got the Oscar fever! Hope you've got it too! I only saw the movie once in theaters and I really, truly didnt like the movie.. when it was fresh I felt like I could have written a book about everything I didnt like about it. K181 05/01/24 4:02:29 PM #12:	It had good moments, but holy fuck it dragged on way too long, the entire last 45 minutes felt like it was tacked on in post with reshoots to up the stakes, I get Bruce was inexperienced but he came off as dumb on multiple occasions and overall a creep, they found a way to make Jeffrey freaking Wright seem like an over the top caricature, and their rendition of the Joker seemed bad from the limited airtime he got (including a deleted scene), just to name a few complaints. Did you go into the movie with your mind made up not to like it? A friend of mine did that, but that's because he's super immature and keeps associating Batman as "the Twilight guy". It's pretty annoying because it ages him significantly, like nowadays nobody thinks of those two actors in that context. Both of them have moved on. Anyways, if you didn't like it that's OK. It just seems like if you didn't like this one why would you like any of the Batman movies. My friend always shuts his mouth when I mention it, but he would get really enthusiastic about how Ben Affleck is the best one and how his movie is going to be amazing, and now when I bring that up it just totally shuts him down. I dont blame him, I blame the direction, but it was just awful. I love 89 and returns, love begins and the dark knight, tdkr was so disappointing, but it had its moments. Returns and Batman and Robin are basically comedies and I enjoy them looking at it like that. I absolutely loved TAS as a kid and even read some comics, but the live action movies never did it for me.
