Maybe replace leaf blowers with rakes during high pollen days?

Yeah, my schools never banned peanuts. My one friend was allergic, so on days where the cafeteria served peanuts he'd get to bring a friend to eat in the office with him. I'd often go eat with him and it was pretty great, actually.

you're probably allergic to all the stuff on the grass, not the grass itself.

It's tree pollen that I'm most allergic to.

But a week or two's worth of it settles on the grass and then gets dispersed explosively all at once.

Sure, the wind would get some to me. But it's like the difference between the air's natural moisture and being hit by a fire hose.

I'm talking literally the twenty seconds it takes to get from the car to the house, because of somebody mowing lawn, took me out for more than four hours.

have you considered wearing a facemask when you go out? I have pollen allergies (though it sounds like not as bad as yours) and the whole mask thing during covid actually helped a lot with it

I tried it for a season and it didn't seem to help.

But now that I think about it, that was one of those crappy surgeon masks and the washable ones that are harder to breathe through might be more effective.

Masks definitely help, and I am right there with you man

I think I hate the windiest days worse than the fresh cut lawns
