I did. First time I've ever felt that way too. And from what I could tell many of the long time posters did as well. Not sure where you're coming from with this theory that the site wasn't on the decline.

Next year will be my 20th year here on GFAQs/CE, and to be honest I probably stopped enjoying coming here around 2014/15. Ive been coming back simply out of habit not because I enjoy it anymore. Ive never posted that much, but many of the users that have remained since the boards started dying in the early 2010s are the terminally online unhinged types and tbh its made the place pretty toxic. CE used to be fun, but its been a pretty miserable/negative place for a while now. I think its time for it to die. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I honestly dont think Gamefaqs will ever die. Maybe its message boards, but Gamefaqs is fairly important for guides..although maybe YouTube kills that side of things
