By promoting consistency in moderation and *addressing specific issues such as hornyposting*, ban/purg evasion, and trolling we aim to create a more welcoming and inclusive space for all users. Furthermore, while we understand the passion surrounding political discussions, we believe it is essential to maintain a focus on gaming-related content. *As such, we are implementing a measure to turn the Current Events private.* Every user who has visited GameFAQs in the last year and who currently has access to the board will retain access to the board. No additional users will be allowed to view or post on the board going forward. Do the same rules apply to content on such wiki as here or are there different rule threshold? Is the threshold discussions regarding controversial or blue content vs it merely existing on the site as a function of the content itself? Does that make sense? There were several knowledgeable posters there that had some real good respectful discussions. Sure not everyone on there was respectful and open-minded, but overall it was a good place. Honestly, in this day and age, "Someone doxxed me/sent death threats" is the justification for any action taken. You don't even have to prove it happened.
