It'll help the moms and dads sleeping in cars that still have jobs, but it won't address the mental health issues that literally being on the streets for long stretches at a time cause. I'm all for public housing, but simply having a home isn't the thing that causes people to have to sleep in their cars. Wages not matching the cost of living is a big one, not taking care of veterans coming home from overseas, drugs, alcohol, and mental instability issues also lead to being homeless too. So again I'm all aboard getting people off the streets, but simply giving them a place to sleep won't stop the pipeline that led then there in the first place nor keep them off the streets permanently. --- lolAmerica ...
