You need a prescription to get medical grade oxygen.

I'm just trying to juice up my workout

Because we don't breathe pure oxygen in our daily lives, and so a device that delivers 95% pure oxygen directly to your lungs is actually an abnormal thing in practice and can have greater, unexpected side effects

I think you answered your own question by even referring to it as "medical grade oxygen"

I just assumed that meant it was safe and clean to breathe

Nah, it means it's at a higher condensed volume than what is typically found in nature. That's the general gist of "medical grade" anything.

There's OTC ibuprofen, and then there's "medical grade" ibuprofen. "Medical grade" indicates it underwent testing to make sure that particular volume, dosage, or whatever is safe for humans, while being higher than what you can get off of a store shelf.

That makes sense, I knew there were stronger painkillers you could only get from doctors.

So what you're saying is I can still get safe breathable oxygen that just isn't medical grade?

From what I saw online it seems like you can easily buy the tanks but it wasn't clear about the O2

Yes, all you have to do is inhale. Chances are you have done it several times in the past minute.

Assuming you're being serious and not facetious, yeah actually. Some company sells those canisters athletes have been pushing lately by conveniently using them on the sidelines and wherever.

No I'm very interested after learning how oxygen revolutionized climbing Mount Everest down to even sleeping and how it just gives you energy and helps you perform better than just inhaling.

It is not safe to breathe except in very small quantities or if you have some kind of lung or blood disease.

This is true. Those symptoms sounds like what happened to my friend over long term use because of her COPD. Its supposed to help, but it prolongs the inevitable. I'll ask that if you smoke please quit. It's avoidable. You do not want this

Googling before making a thread would kill a lot of topics before they are even made on CE lol. It why I don't really ask personal questions on here. Someone probably asked it on another forum.

Well Everest is an environment where theres significantly less oxygen in the air so thats a bit different.

But then what's the point of having discussion? We got to interact and converse with each other instead.

Even if not everyone out here likes me I enjoy conversation and people talking things over.

You can ship canisters of welding gas to your house from amazon, fully filled too. I imagine oxygen can be mailed too, any gas supplier can fill a canister regardless since they're used in cutting torches.

If that were the case it would be the ATF's explosives branch. It's because it's used in medicine.
