Maximus is for sure low intelligence, but high agility, strength and endurance

Lucy is probably a luck-based build with above-average intelligence and agility, and low perception

The Ghoul is for sure agility and perception focused, as a classic gunslinger should be. He'd also have high endurance due to being a Ghoul

Norm definitely dumped as much into intelligence as possible, but probably has very low strength and endurance

All I know about Thaddeus is that he probably has incredibly low perception and average intelligence (makes smart decisions sometimes, makes incredibly dumb ones other times)

I don't think there's a true charisma focused character yet but maybe Lucy becomes one by the next season

Ghoul definitely has good Charisma. He literally passes a Charisma test on the show with the sound and everything.

Yeah thinking back on it, he was an actor so his Charisma should be pretty high. I just don't know how much he uses it post-War when it comes to problem solving. But he's definitely the smoothest talker of the entire cast

He uses it for intimidation nonstop, but damn is it obvious he could sweet talk his way out of a lot of problems if he wanted to.

I could see that. During Season 2, I could see Lucy softening him up enough to where he talks his way out of problems more rather than just waving his gun around lol

Maybe I just dump stat'd too hard, but I find it really weird that Bethesda didn't give any of them higher than an eight. If nothing else, Cooper should definitely have a ten in one or two of them.

I guess it's because the characters are a bit more well-rounded than a typical min-max Fallout build. Like, even though we can agree Max would have lower intelligence, it's not like he's a drooling moron as a game like New Vegas would typically portray a low intelligence build.

I'd definitely expect the Ghoul's agility to be sky high though considering how often he seems to be using VATs. And as mentioned, Charisma since he's an actor. Norm almost definitely has a 8-10 in intelligence too.

Surprised the Ghoul has 4 in luck with some of those shots he pulls off.

Lucy having 5 Charisma also surprises me as she never convinces anyone to do anyhting!

I feel like most of the non-hostile characters she comes across do find her weirdly endearing.

And she is the most likely character to try and talk their way through a situation first. It doesn't always go her way, but I gotta figure the fact that she keeps trying gives her some points in her favor

A five in SPECIAL is just average, I think.

And yeah, looking at them again, the provided stats are just kinda bunk IMO. Like Maximus and Cooper both have an intelligence of four which is just dumb as hell. Cooper isn't a scientist or anything, but he's definitely smarter than Maximus. I'd put him at maybe a six.

You are correct. She does always try and never stumbles on her words or anything so average is probably right spot for her.

Yeah I was making the mistake of thinknig 5 was low when it's the norm.

Cooper should be higher he has a great grasp in how people think.

In F4, Agility governs competency with small arms. With a 7, he would be fine making just about any shot.

I hope in season 2 they collect a bobblehead and suddenly become a little better at something just from picking it up lol.

Dont you need. Pip Boy to use VATS? Cooper was a former soldier and war veteran. This would explain his proficiency with firearms?
