Ill be honest, I dont really care about the changes. Only talk about politics on CE? Fine. Dont get sexually explicit? Absolutely, we shouldnt be discussing that anyway. Lock down CE? Meh, happened to LUE, this is no different.

It's less the rule change and more the heavy-handed way that fandom push down the changes, asked for feedback, and then responded by letting everyone know they had no intention and of changing any of their actions in the first place. The frustration is ultimately about an investment Capital group funding a company that everyone hates that is starting to take actions we could all see coming a mile away that will slowly whittle away what's left of this community until it's nothing but a bunch of wikis and q&a's.

No, it was deleted because you were mocking the mods. Same thing when they banned the user is suspended topics and I made a topic that mocked the new rule, of course it got deleted

I honestly dont care about the new stuff, though it is sad to see the end of CE. I am also pretty sure Ill end up getting suspended eventually, I always do, and thatll be that.. Ill be gone forever

How much does this site cost?

It doesn't really affect me. I don't hornypost and I virtually never talk about politics. It's only a real worry for people who never followed the rules to begin with. And even then, it takes quite a bit to get purged so if you manage it it's probably no great loss.

Me personally? In a way, but I'd never miss CE. It's more to do with the very blatant disregard of any community here for the sake of virtue signaling and fake morality, which really just boils down to Fandom wanting to nuke this site because it's a competitor of their wikis. A lot of GameFAQs' decline was happening before this, but Allen did as much as he could to prevent the site from going away. Allen left in what I find to be a pretty clear protest, and Fandom has zero incentive to keep this place alive. Basically the question now is what do we do about our contributions.

It was deleted with no karma loss, so I assume it was more of a "Hey this isn't cool" message.

On their own, it's not really a giant deal. This site was always on the decline, but the real problem is that it's step #?? in Fandom's plan of slowly molding the site into whatever abomination they have planned.

I don't know what would be sadder, if a mod who has been part of this community for a long time was effectively forced to type that because that's what the new admins want, or if there was a mod who legitimately thinks that is what objectification is.

I rarely post here and mostly just check the first page every other day while I shit. But I've been in this community since 2004 and I don't wanna see it die. Don't give a shit about horny posting, and I'm okay with politics being just here. But making the board private?

They don't bother me one bit. "Hornyposting" is juvenile and I'll just avoid posting in political topics like I should anyway.

Sure, if I want to keep my "privileges" to view CE then I'll have to be more careful about how strongly I word things sometimes, but I should do that anyway. I've gotten into the bad habit of not really caring what I say on this site and that's not a good thing. So if it helps me keep my mouth shut more often, that's a good thing.

So yeah . . . overall I'm fine with the changes.
