Eventually they're going to go after anything that is not related to gaming-- basically shutting down all non-gaming social, community, and special interest boards. The writing is on the wall with Timmy's posts (and IIRC their lengthier post about closing 261 that I am no longer able to find)

.... political discussion does not make sense as a core driver of conversations on a site dedicated to video games and gameplay. I dont believe if GameFAQs was to be started today, that political topics would be part of the structure of the site.

Yes, but possibly not the card game, tabletop RPG, science/tech, and electronics boards. Possibly *Fandom would be stupid to nuke those as most of them are intimately linked to gaming* It would depend on the level of Fandom's competence and laziness (non-gaming social/special interest/etc. boards would need to be moved over to their respective gaming-related folders before the non-gaming folders are nuked)
