I remember when Next Gen Gaming's name was a huge controversial topic 15 fucking years ago (20?). The answer was to change it to "Nonstop Gaming General" and remove some of the topicality as generations became more and more vague. Now it still has the NGG moniker and topicality regarding old systems and games was removed.

I see no reason why CE wouldn't get a similar scenario. But really they should bring back the Politics board, siphon it off, and declare that the only place for it.

theres definitely a way to have politics open.. it just takes some work
As with all things, relationships, cars, a hobby, they all take continued time & investment. Probably why a lot of people just think they don't want to deal with it & want to shove it off into the vacuum of space basically.
