It's fun but also tedious.

I have fun and get frustrated at the same time.

I played through it, and finished it.

terrible game.

I did, I never did beat it but I should. I greatly enjoyed it.

Loved it, but I did play the Director's Cut which had some quality of life improvements

yea.

I wasn't enjoying it, but I don't like to write things off until I give them a full chance.

plus, it was Kojima's story without execs telling him to wrap things up, as far as I knew.

unfortunately, the writing was bad, the characters were two-dimensional, the combat and stealth were basic, and the forced Timefall sections (and sometimes boss fights) were super annoying in how they were handled.

the traversal was the only part that wasn't terrible, IMO, but it still wasn't fun, so I just got the exoskeleton that let's you run, and delivered the least amount of items necessary.

Anything with Kojimas name attached to it is an instant no for me since MGS3.
