I think the weakest placed votes today are MZero and Death, which also left with it so it's kind of a shame I wasn't faster with everything but nothing to do about that now. Death admitted he had to place a vote, it just felt really forced to me. I thought MZero looked decent until his vote which looks quite bad to me.

Lopen has also seemed off to me. Initially blasting into the "vig shot was a setup" theory looked towny but I don't think it's been too clear since. I think it's weird Lopen was at one point Lea would never subscribe to this cowardly course of action. and had his suspecion of me revert that entirely. For someone generally being pretty creative about setups, what would hold back to thinking we could both me scum exactly? It has been mentioned in this game that my bussing abilities stretches to killing shooting two of my own teammates, one of them coincidentally being Lea, we had a convincing theater leading up to it. But my weak and noncommited Lea shade could not be scum / scum? It sounds like Lopen read or chose to misinterpret more shade than I actually feel like I threw myself, but the point still stands. Lopen notably in the same game here forgot his clearly explained case that Corrik and Chang can't be scum together (though when reminded stuck to it again) but Ctes and Lea not on the same team sticks. This feels off to me. I also thought Lopen's Death suspecion felt a little faked (says nothing bout Death) because there was little commitment. I don't really think Death did anything differently than what Lopen suspected him for to begin with. Also, I think town Lopen would be more interested in considered wonkyness of the only even night kills which might mean he knows about it.

If I was killed right now, MZero, Death, Lopen would be my scum guesses in DTC. I don't think I have a lot of good day 1s in mind, but I think I've had some good gut reads I occasionally can't really articulate well. Scum isn't really in a position to bus a lot imo, and the above guess works with thinking they didn't.

I kinda wish IGCD had lived a while longer. I want to say IGCD would have said to kill a scum member but basically no one showed up on time and I have not really thought Chang nor Kirby was scum though.

Next up is trying to work out a town core.

Are you saying that as a attempt to kill off Chang for scum or for town?

It's difficult to fully commit to the "see you day two life" when Ulti keeps saying inaccurate things. Perhaps that was the 4D level tactic all along, but I was not mislynched for inactivity when I was miller. I was mislynched for not claiming Miller in my first post, Ulti was explicit about this many, many times. After all, I was a major contributor to the only scum who died in that entire mafia game. When my posts are always ignored and my wins are immediately forgotten, who can really blame a gal for not posting D1 when met with so many very different irritating stale boring arguments.

It's always hard to tell what's scum inconsistency and what's just baseline insanity, with Ulti specifically, but it could be a fabricated reason to not go after me even if you're the SCUM IS ALWAYS INACTIVE KILL THE SCUM NOT THE TALKY MAN king.

I'm more worried about Lopen though. He started off decently with his whole "Voting no lynch isn't Lea's personality, could be low energy from GF being shot, etc". But as I petulently lurked, repelled by truly dull arguments about no lynching, I saw Lopen came to my defense. Struck me as out of character.

Knightz, Chang, Kirby, Ben, Corrik, all reliably town. I'd say more but my kids have wrestling, you know how it is. I ask you respect my pacifist no lynch beliefs. Sure it may be traditionally risk averse and boring, but it's also never been done before. We can all get along as friends

Red I think looks towny to a point where I don't want to consider it at all.

I think that's a good enough start for a core I feel good about.

I don't trust my ability to read Ulti currently, but I think whatever he is doing has a good chance of resolving and being clearer to me later on. No reason to consider him.

Chang looks quite towny to me most of the time, IGCD interaction has had me back and worth. But I don't immediately think he can be on a team with MZero or Lopen, who I suspect more than most, so I don't want to go there.

To play Devil's advocate, that is the easiest list for Lea to make. But its only easy because its the most correct list so I guess I shouldn't expect anything else from town Lea either :/

If there's a player that has avoided my speculations, it's Ben, which is interesting to me because he doesn't usually do that. I thought he came off strong early d1 but has completely slipped past me since.

Then there's FD who is definitely in the POE to me but hasn't really managed to irk me the wrong way.

These are Kirby's two strongest town reads, very curious about that.

Also I don't really have a lot of reason to think you're town for afking if your master plan is to catch someone I don't believe you actually think is scum with it.

Feels more like you afked, realized you got a lot of heat and hatched a good scheme to try and get a free lynch off of it

Oh and I never really got back to Lea. I can't take her out of the POE either but nothing since the NL vote has made me think she looked bad.

I feel like Lopen should have included me with Chang and Lea in post #369 even without a vote down.

I started out trying to draw notes of player interactions and somewhere maybe halfway in topic 1 I realized I was overdoing it and not having fun considering we're at a stage with only one very early flip. I was zoning out so I reread the rest and started gathering things from there, made me feel alive again, it's been a while, I'm glad I signed up. But hopefully I can use what I did note on a later day.

FD, it's super clear NL isn't going to happen, even Kirby realized and voted. What's the next best options?

I'm not sure what you mean by this tbh. I've never been lynched before Day 3 a single time despite the pressure I get early in most games.

Its true that you did absolutely nothing that should have changed his mind, but he was seemingly triggered by the posts of other people who were okay with lynching you for the inactivity. I thought it was non-sensical, but it did strike me as a town Lopen move (basing one player's alignment entirely off the actions of another player or multiple other players whose alignments are also not known)

Most of the time I just wish Lopen would play simple and focus on one player at a time, before trying to put the whole game together. But he did the latter here and I do associate that with his town self. Thoughts?

There have also been times this game where I have wondered if Lopen is scum for being too agreeable. And you have to wonder if going first after Corrik and Knithz out of the gate is just so wild that its him mimicing himself too hard, but you never know.

My Lopen track record is also good, I too don't think I have incorrectly suspected him since the insanity psychic fluke which only happened because I correctly read him town and watched him because of it lol. Not locked in, but also might not be around until deadline.

Only that its poorly justified and optimal for the scum team when he is scum because he cares more about not letting them down than he does looking good. I'll review it but didnt like when he posted that he's feeling he'll be disappointed by whatever Ctes' response is

I don't think Death looks great, as I have said, and as bad as you can sometimes feel about lynches in mafia, I would not let that stop me, but I would rather go for Lopen or MZero right now. Rest of currently workable POE is Ben, FD and Lea, but I doubt it will shift tonight. Still curious about some thoughts from Kirby though.

Hmmm. I guess that just seemed flimsy to me, y'know? Like he had a good thesis, and normally town Lopen is all CRY HAVOC AND LET SLIP THE DOGS OF WAR, BOYS. And generates immense pressure. But I didn't even show up so it seemed really premature to write it off as too many people want to lynch Lea.

Lopen said I couldn't be wrong town because only I and Chang suspected him, but I think he's the clear lynch leader now. Recent changes to the Gamefaqs Board rules may have diminished my power, but I guess I can still get it done heh heh heh
