Snooker is a totally different game compared to Pool and/or Pocket Billiards. In Snooker the table is 12foot by 6foot compared to 9foot by 4 1/2foot for a Pool table, smaller pockets and smaller balls compared to Pool balls and Pool table pockets. The idea of the game is to accumulate points to win the frame. You do that by going for a Red ball first which is worth 1 point and then any "coloured ball" which is worth the following Yellow - 2, Green - 3, Brown - 4, Blue - 5, Pink - 6 and Black 7 points. You keep going Red, colour, red until all the red balls are potted and then you clear the colours in point sequence to win the frame.
