We had been there before so I decided I wanted to get on a train and ride for a few hours to my favorite city in the world and go to Rome. So that is what I did. I've taken trains to get to college at Newark Penn and to head to Manhattan at New York Penn. Have ridden the MTA plenty of times. Very affordable, much more than something like Amtrak. My train ticket wasn't expensive and you just walk onto your train with your stuff. They aren't 3D scanning you and harassing you like the TSA. I took the "chunnel" from London to Paris and back once way back in 2008, and a couple of years ago I took the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto and back.
