Pro tip: Run hot water on mosquito bites to make them stop itching for a few hours. Like, hop in the shower, aim the water away from you, turn the heat up really hot, and then stick the bite into the water for as long as you can. Like a second or two. The relief is instant, the moment you take the bite out of the hot water.

When I used to get get thigh rash running track in High school I would run hot water in the shower for like 3 minutes.

I get it - sometimes I'll fall asleep with a hair-tie around my wrist and wake up hours later with a deep red indentation. It itches and burns but is strangely soothing to scratch
