Not downplaying it, just constantly reminding that the U.S. has minority groups that could be oppressed (or being oppressed currently) as well.

We got states over here banning and burning books. No matter who wins in November America will still be supporting Israel and allowing them to continue their reign of terror. As important as that issue is the ones we should be focusing on are the ones happening in the USA. Those are the things that will change dramatically based on who wins. Democrats are far better in issues that help America, and so I will support them.

Not voting for Biden chances nothing going on in the Middle East but it could dramatically change what's going on here.

And when asked about birth control one Republican Senator, Sonny Borrelli, said "Like I said, Bayer Company invented aspirin. Put it between your knees."

Which is an old joke from the 60's that's basically saying that if you're holding something with your knees, then you won't have time to spread your legs. So in a roundabout way, he basically said that women won't need the birth control if they just keep their legs closed. And he's not even the first Republican to make that same joke about birth control.
