Well it was written by people who grew up during the time period when being some blue collar worker meant you actually could afford an entire house and raise a daughter on a single salary or sell dumb tchatckis

Kat was so hot in that movie

I remember in Knocked Up where the guys spent the majority of the movie cataloging nude scenes in movies for a website they were building, and the whole time I was thinking "But that's already a thing!" and then that exact thing became a plot point in the movie where they found out it existed and actually plugged the real website lol

Hey now, Walk Hard is a hilarious satire and parody of the musical biopic. Just fantastic and I'm sure him with Jenna Fischer was a joke.

No matter what a movie characters profession or family situation, they always have either a huge house or a huge apartment in the middle of a major city.
