Is saying you feel like there's no one in your life who loves you something that just sucks and no one should feel that way because everyone should feel loved by someone or is the reality that love is something that must be earned and maintained and if you feel like no one's loving you it's because you have things you need to work on with yourself to find that?

If there's actually no one, that probably means your family failed to fill that role, since your parents in particular have a responsibility to care for you without there being any onus on you to "earn" that. There can certainly be cases where you burned the bridge with your parents and therefore deserved to be disowned, but otherwise being unloved by your parents is a failure on their part and not yours.

Otherwise, though, having nobody outside of your parents who cares about you is generally a consequence of some combination of not putting yourself in scenarios where you can make friends, and pushing people away when you are in such scenarios. Put yourself out there more and try to be friendly, and you'll make connections with people. If you struggle to do that, therapy can help.

I think everyone deserves some kind of love but not romantic love.

As an adult, if theres nobody in your life that loves you, its very unlikely that youre in no way responsible for that.

Its different for kids. They have less agency. Not their fault if theyve got shitty parents or whatever. But at some point you have to rise above that and take responsibility for your circumstances.
