For a game that came from a gacha game developer, this is really impressive what theyre making.

No need for sass, just wanted to be clear since places like Resetera you get severely punished for boys club actions like perpetuating the male gaze and disregarding feminist ideals.

Why wouldn't hype for the game be allowed?

Played it, it's disappointingly clunky and kinda feels like ass to actually play.

idk, my general impression is that if a game needs to sell itself with boobs, its probably not very creative or interesting. so i haven't given this a serious consideration because i thought it was just a thirst trap game

Yeah I played the demo. The gameplay was better than I was expecting, but I'm still not a fan of that combat style. I was hoping the speed would be closer to DMC, where I'm just unleashing crazy combos and juggling enemies all over the place.

I was moderately hyped for it, but after finding out it's more Souls than DMC, I'm not interested in it at all.
I guess I'll check out the demo still.

extremely pretty game, too much of a soulsbourne game for me

Yeah, I thought it was going to be like DMC and not like Souls, so I'm pretty disappointed. I don't have a PS5, though, so maybe I'll give it a look when it comes to PC.

Weird take. A good game is a good game and a bad game is a bad one. Whichever of these it is, neither is hurt by having an appealing main character.

I was hoping for something more akin to Bayonetta, but I'm not hating on it for being something it isn't. The graphics are nice, the enemy designs are sweet, but it just doesn't nail the feel for me.
I'll snag it on a deep sale though.

Ive seen one person (so far) put it in the Game of the Year list. More people didnt agree with that.

Nah, it's not being labeled a Souls-like just for that. But I'd say it's more of a Sekiro-like with the big emphasis on parries and the indicators for blockable/unblockable attacks.

The combat is gonna be hit or miss for people. Especially with the early comparisons to DMC and Bayonetta, when it's nothing like those, in actuality.
