One with 6 or 7. Had do get a tooth removed, because I had some chicken pox (not sure if translated correctly), and that caused some bad infection with pus UNDER a teeth. Full general anastesia, I was out completly.

One with 13. Appendix. Full general anastesia. I was full out completly.

One with 32. Circumcision. local anastesia. I got a needle pushed into my **** and was fully awake during the surgery.

4 pacemaker surgeries. I got the first one in 2017, and got it replaced in 2020, needed a more advanced model. It became infected so I had to go back i and have 2 more surgeries. Minor surgery for a broken hand in 2021. Outpatient. They gave me a nerve block. My entire arm was paralyzed most of the day. Lastly I was put under to get my wisdom teeth removed. I dont know if that counts, though.
So, 5 or 6 times.

The only one that felt like a real surgery at a hospital was hernia surgery when I was 12. I remember freaking out when they were trying to put me under and they had to hold me down until I fell asleep. The oral surgeries felt more like advanced dentist visits.

Only times I've been put under is for my Strabismus (eye surgery) and wisdom teeth removal.

Other than that, the only other surgery I've had is laser eye surgery (PRK) which isn't really a surgery as much as they just brush off part of your cornea and shoot a laser in.

The hernia itself caused me no pain. A little discomfort as I could feel my innards popping out.
Surgery was a bit painful but I didn't need any pain meds myself.

Three knee surgeries. A shoulder surgery.

I had to get out under anesthesia three times for some cortisone injections into my spine just so that I could have the shoulder surgery.

So put under 7 times in my life.

Edit: forgot wisdom teeth, so 8 times
