why not just add 2 more classes and one more chapter?

The game was complete, and I don't see a way that they improve on it enough to justify a sequel.

Slay the Spire doesn't need another title. I've cleared A20H runs on every character, but I still have plenty to see and do. Try downfall and other mods if you really want to just freshen up the experience, but at this point, I think user generated content is and should be all we have to add to StS. Let megacrit work on their new project, and when it comes out, maybe we have another gem of a game.

I'd recommend Across the Obelisk. Mostly similar to Slay the Spire but you have more characters to choose from (once you unlock them) and there's meta-progression between runs (in the form of perks).

I'm kind of getting scared; things have been going TOO well for me lately, entertainment wise. Lots of my favorite old series are getting reboots and/or English releases, and now this. This is sort of the opposite of the luck I normally have where my favorite things get dropped or canceled.

Day freaking one purchase.

I rarely try to tag people, but pretty much every time I've tried it hasn't worked properly. It's not a very good system.

One of these days I'll stop slacking and get/play StS.

Slay the Spire 2 was completely rewritten from the ground up in a new game engine! We're bringing in modern features, incorporating all-new visuals, and expanding moddability.

I'm still having a blast with mods; my favorites lately are the Animator and the one that lets you have Pokemon partners in battle. The final boss for the former mod is a bitch and a half, but it gets easier with the latter.

Shame its not til next year at the earliest. 1 is arguably a top ten game for me so im very hopeful for 2.

I am mildly worried. Sts is the 2nd best roguelike/lite I've ever played and they could totally bunk it.

Look what redhook did with DD2. What a mess. On the other hand look what hopoo did with ROR2. What a masterpiece.

Animator was pretty fun
The Drifter is my current favorite (also completely ridiculous)
Also, Together in Spire is incredibly well done.
