I liked the cartoon when it first started in 1992, and through 1993, but I stopped watching it there. Never knew it continued for so long until now.

Im watching X-Men 97, and I just decided to try watching the original show again. I forgot how the art is really good, but the animation is atrocious.

Id imagine that Disney being Disney will see the success of this and immediately green light new Spider-Man, Hulk and Iron Man cartoons with a similar set up. Also maybe Gargoyles.

Sorry, didn't know it was that big a spoiler so deleted it and I totally forgot Hulk had a cartoon back then, Captain America and Thor had cartoons too but I never saw them, I never saw Iron Man wither it was always X-Men and Spider Man and sometimes Batman, were they not successful or something?

Well, I doubt they'll continue the old Hulk and Iron Man cartoons from this era, considering they don't take place in the same universe as Spider-Man and X-Men (those two shows took place on Earth-92131, while the Marvel Action Hour cartoons [The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and Fantastic Four] were set on Earth-534834), and I don't think they were nearly as well regarded as Spider-Man and X-Men.

But maybe they'll make new cartoons set in the Spider-Man/X-Men universe, especially since both Hulk and Iron Man were previously established to exist in it (Professor X once used a robot based on the Hulk to try to slow down the Juggernaut once he got inside the Danger Room, and Iron Man appeared twice on Spider-Man [he and War Machine once tried to help Spidey stop Venom and Carnage from stealing Stark tech on Dormammu's orders, and Tony was one of the heroes summoned to Battleworld toward the end of the series]).

Without a doubt, probably in the next few weeks, they will announce a new season of Spiderman from the 90s Fox show.
This new season of X-Men is way bigger than they thought, it boosted interest in the franchise, boost in comic sales as well. Im sure toys also

Have you watched the show yet? The show is still giving us some decent women designs. Like Evil Jean/Goblin Queen who while not as sexy as the comic was still above what the 90s cartoon did with chests.

If there is a new Gargoyles season hopefully it will be an adaptation of the Greg Weisman written comics, the ones from 2006 and the current run respectively. Since they are already the official continuation anyway.

While I am not writing off the live action adaptation until I see it as I am against hating things I haven't seen, I would much rather have a new season of the cartoon.

I havent watch it yet because I dont have Disney plus anymore but x-men has always been super popular so its nice that this is a hit. Probably goes to show Disney that we the people have been craving the x-men for some time

I like the Mohawk from a uniqueness standpoint. I don't care for it in terms of attractiveness.
