Republicans take all the worst aspects of humanity and promote them as if they were just. And people still have the gall to deny they are like the nazis. This little meeting is just some of them saying out loud what they all think.

That woman in the audience that claims women are going into hospitals and having abortions and it's being covered up by being marked down as a miscarriage, she's one of those ones who wants to arrest/execute women who have miscarriages.

Yeah, this country is pretty fucked politically.

While various European comparisons do have a rise of fascism and right-wing extremism, it seems like the U.S. still takes the cake in how shitty it's right-wing party & voting populace is. Cause even Meloni's policies sometimes actively work towards helping Italians while actively discriminatingly against non-Italian born people, whereas the GOP just convinces its base that hating others is a worthy substitute for healthcare and rights.

From where I sit no matter how bad the non-American equivalents are, the GOP seems to be worse.

This is of course only representative in comparable nations, obviously there's worse nations out there because their state's situation has been in decline for a long time and only getting worse.

God knows I hate the UK Tory party, their nasty racism, dismantling of the welfare state, and authoritarianism. In many ways they are no better than the Republicans.

Almost 30, actually. This is from Back In Town, which was '96.

Make no mistake, they want a world where they can rape and forcefully impregnate women, of any age. They want to give women no options, no recourse.

Soon they will want laws that if you conceive outside of marriage, you must marry the father and if you refuse, then you deliver and are sentenced to summary execution.

It's honestly getting to the point where I'm just waiting for them to just start questioning 30-40 year old women who don't have children and accusing them of having abortions.

I'm not telling anyone not to vote or to vote against harm reduction. Do what you think is best at the polling place. Just don't rest everything on a vote and crossing your fingers every couple of years. Think beyond electoral politics and be prepared to take care of yourself and your community.

Buy a weapon. Learn to use it. Train and organize with your community and others for mutual aid and defense.

Im glad other countries are helping women in need by having no issue with mailing them abortion pills for early term pregnancies.
