Me? I was 27 and my girlfriend was 22. My roommate on the other hand dated someone when he was 27 and she was 19. They were both consenting adults so I didn't really care that much. Long as they were happy. Relationship lasted 3 years until she moved away.

Longest gap was 4 years where I was older (22, 18). Now my wife is 2 years older than me (34, 36).

Had a weird friends with benefits relationship with a 42 year old when I was 23.

In relationships where I was the older one, 6 years between me and my wife. We were both in our 20s when we met

I absolutely have to question the intentions of a 32 year old who gets into a relationship with a 16 year old.

A 16 year old is a child. Idc if the law in some places says consent starts at 16. Thats still very much wack as hell

Actual relationship, my current one with her being twelve years younger then me. If you count just sex, back when I was twenty-five I slept with a guy that was sixty-three.

She was 21/22, I was 26/27. I was a bit uncomfortable with the age gap at the beginning, but it didnt end up being too big of an issue (compared to the other issues our relationship had).

In my mid thirties, I had a fling with a 45ish cougar milf.

My first relationship had me at 13 and she was 18. Only 5 years, but I daresay that's a lot more significant than 10 years in older ages. I still treasure it though.

Otherwise, all my relationships have been with people 10-14 months younger than me, just by coincidence. I don't even consider age in romantic pursuit, it just turns out this way.

That's a good point and I suppose what I was implying. Sure it's "legal" but I wouldn't say it was "right". Kids around 16 / 17 are stupid. I was stupid. Most others are stupid. It's not moral IMO to have a 30 something pursue these ages.

Only a year. Somehow I've gone through dating in highschool, to college, to online dating and always ended up with women born within a year of me.

3 out of 4 of them were the same year as me.

I've never been in a relationship. Finally had the guts to approach my crush for the first time and had a good time chatting. It got a bit awkward when we revealed our ages.. she's 20 and I'm 27. I thought the 7 year gap is a bit too far. But.. I really like her haha.

I had no idea she felt about it. But overall, I guess it depends on what we want and maturity...

16 and 32 is absolutely predatory. Just because people can be weird about age gaps doesnt mean we shouldnt call out actual predation.

Well of course that's different because 16 is underage. That's an extreme example there.

I have never dated anyone with more than a year difference either way. Come to think of it, that is kind of a strange quirk of my dating history. There have been no age gaps at all to speak of.

i'd say the weird one is you pulling an example out of nowhere that people aren't mad about, and ignoring the actual example of a 32 year old and a 16 year old given in this topic.

As far as an actual relationship goes, my most recent ex-girlfriend was a little over 7 years younger than me. We started dating when I was 33, shortly before she turned 26.

Outside on relationships, I casually dated a 46-year-old woman when I was 32, and I hooked up with an 18-year-old woman just after I turned 33.
