I prefer verbally correcting ridiculous grammatical mistakes. And, if those mistakes get bad enough, there might be a physical correction, too. =p

Some folk are not native English speakers that I talk to so their typing in English can be patchy. I primarily work with people where English is not their first language so it doesn't bother me that much.
