I went to Catholic School for part of middle school and they were 100% pushing the mindset that masturbation is a sin and that God knows if you do, because he sees all.

They also really pushed abstinence and that sex before marriage was a sin. They even made us take a field trip to go see a play about abstinence.

This was junior/senior year of high school though where they at least pretended like they were treating us like adults.
