It's fucked no one came to her aid when she was clearly more than knocked out.
Someone could have at least gotten down with her and talk to her.

Whatever the fight was about it couldn't justify public murder.

of course, people would sometimes slam their opponents in the past, but now we have that plus MMA stuff. and people also seem more brutal, maybe because they know they're being recorded and the fight can become viral.

Worst I know of is 2 dudes fighting and one tried to drown the other in a ditch. I don't know if his intent was to kill or just make it so he can't breath which made it harder for dude to fight back but it was fucked up regadless

Even though she was laying there having convulsions, getting video for social media is the #1 priority these days.

You could hear her head cracking against the pavement. I wouldn't be surprised if she has permanent brain damage, if she survives.

Pretty sure the difference is back then you only saw the fights you saw, whereas now you get to see a highlight reel of the worst fights in the country.

Yeah not this bad but my mom made the girl fights at her school sound pretty brutal.

She said it was so bad most girls carried 2 knives. The 2nd one incase their friend forgot theirs.

I might be mistaken but I seem to recall her mentioning a time or two they got permission from the principal to drive a girl home after she got her ass whipped bad enough. Yeah they shoulda called the parents but 70s where a different time I guess.

That was a sickening sound when she slammed her head into the ground. The girl has a brain bleed and swelling. They wont know the extent of brain damage until she wakes up, if she wakes up. Thats pretty bad.

Yeah brain bleed can be bad I guess. Apparently not every hospital is equipped to deal with it. We tool a inmate to the hospital where he got his ass beat. He had bleeding on the brain and suddenly we are having to transport him to a different hospital. They where gonna air lift him there but they got weight limits and a officer must remain with him and I barely threw off the weight limit.

Just another scenario that further cements that teenagers, especially older ones are just as violent and shitty as adults are capable of being, if anything it seems like they can get away with way more since "they are just children".

Im not watching that video, just hope she makes a full recovery with all her facilities intact.

I seriously doubt that girl ever fully recovers. Taking a punch to the back of head can fuck you up, much less getting your skull cracked on the pavement.

Most of the time. I went to these certain middle and high shool public schools down here in south carolina (both of these schools where right beside one another) from 96' to 98', and then from 98' to 2001' and those kids legit were bat-shit crazy when they fought, always bringing something that can be used as a weapon whenever possible or going for slams on concrete, etc.

During my 7th grade year in 97' this girl who I was familiar with since we went to the same church growing up, she brought one of the cafetaria metal forks with her, got into this brawl with these other girls on our bus and got in a few fork stabs....bus driver had to stop the bus on the side of the road, call the cops, and every single one of us had to stand against the bus legs spread with our hands in the air......this was on the ride home and all I wanted to do was playing some damn super mario rpg when I got home, =/ lol.

There was another fight I remember seeing on my last day of school in my senior year in 2001....I guess these 2 dudes were beefing and wanted to get one more out of them before every single one of us, or the vast majority of us anyway, moved on with our lives and pushed highschool out of our minds lol. Anyway outside going towards the student parking lot there was these 2 dudes grappling, one of them manages to get the other in a good hold and he straights up body slames him on the concrete back-first with a thud loud enough that it made like 200+ something students stop to see what happened.

Really hope that guy didn't end up with a permanent back injury because of something like that.

Retaliation was fair the level it was taken to is what's being questioned here.

The correctional officer in me wants to say it was too far. As it's drilled into our head when using force "the least reasonable amount required to obtain a correctional objective"

Civilian in me wants to know just how bad was this bully what was the history. Like if this was mild bullying or a one off incident. Too far. But if this girl has being tormented for awhile by the other girl and nobody every helped or punished the bully I could understand her snapping.

Guess what show she watched to get the idea to do that

When i was that age, the worst thing i've done was throw a snowball across the yard and it hit some 11 year old right in the face. And i stopped doing that ever since, felt proper bad.

Worst I've done was through a small board at my brother and the nail in it caught his face. It was a rather small nail fortunately ibdont think I realized there was a nail. I was like 5 maybe.

I mean, that seems like the only excuse she could give as a defense to try and stay out of trouble. Who knows if its true or not
