It's good for finding and listening to cool movie and video game soundtracks. Also good for helping you find songs that you heard before but never knew the name until you Googled some of the lyrics. Overall a good platform for music. Really improved my quality of life!

Good to find extremely rare music that doesn't exist digitally anywhere else. But I think audio quality is highly compressed on youtube unfortunately, not that it matters much to me.

I might be a little addicted to youtube. I hate youtube, but I love it.

I wish it treated content creators better, but overall its probably my favorite website on the internet.

It's good for other things. My step dad knew enough about mechanics work but not enough to know how to work on specific models of vehicles. He'd YouTube it and get it done. Basically he knew how to work on older vehicles but not modern ones.

It's a big hole in the whole "kids these days don't know how to change a tire" narrative. Many younger people indeed don't know how to do basic vehicle maintenance or other similar tasks that can be handy to know but come up relatively rarely, but they do know how to find out. The Internet is a gold mine of directions for tasks like that, often with step-by-step video guides, such that there's very little reason to learn them before they're actually needed. The idea that everyone needs to know and every parent has a responsibility to pass the knowledge on to their children is just outdated.

Actually my favorite artist is not on Youtube or pretty much anywhere else. Makes it a pain on the rare occasion that I get to discuss them.

Idk about tire changing but there are a lot of videos with info that's just wrong.
