The worst part is that there was a beautiful black hardcover edition with a katana on it, and they removed it from the face of the earth or something to replace it with your typical hideous show tie-in cover version.

I bought it for a buck from a 2nd hand shop almost 20 years ago.

It was one of those smaller paperback, it's was like 500 pages like a brick. It was old, yellow, folded up but it was a good book.

Forreal. I don't buy hardcovers unless I know it's a book I'll only read at home. The new covers are atrocious.

My vision is 20/200 so I dont read physical books at all anymore as that means squinting, eye strain, and headaches, whereas with ebooks I can just blow the font up huge and go about my day. Audio works too, but my attention span sucks, so I tend to save that for re-reads.

I only buy hardcovers for collecting purposes, and this far thsts basically just been Sun Eater.

I inherited my grandpa's copy when he passed away. It might be a first printing of the paperback it's so old.

There's gotta be some old bookstores with copies. The book has been out forever. You may have better luck calling or emailing though. A lot of those places don't do websites.
