I'm not talking about people literally on this board. I mean the political approach he uses and represents. The establishment, anti-leftist, "vote blue" people. What he does is what the party does and it's not working.

My proposal is to focus on economics and abortion, to stop the war in Gaza, and to figure out some way to minimize the age discussion.
If you're not talking about the people literally on this board then what do you hope to gain by saying it here? The people on this board are the only ones your post is going to reach. If you just want to complain into the void, then that's fine, I can totally understand that feeling. But it's important you understand that no one in the political sphere is going to even be aware of your opinion, much less care about it. I don't say that to be rude, it's just a simple fact that no one among democrat leadership is browsing the Current Events message board on gamefaqs.gamespot.com looking for the opinions of random posters to inform their political strategy.

Are you just unaware of how people and history work? Events change how people view things, draw contrasts, open eyes, they make people go back and learn the history, or even just gross people out. Yes, a genocide effects how people view on ongoing tragedy.

not a trump supporter, but the anti-biden tirade by young non-white voters is bleeding through the closer we get.

i have seen a rise in young non-white conservative voters BELIEVING trump was better for america during his four year term compared to bidens current run.

i watch luke beasley and david pakman on youtube. they both lay it all down versus mindless trump bots. however, i feel that isnt enough when misinformed new conservatives are blaming biden for: inflation, shrinkflation, homelessness, immigrants, fentanyl overdoses, housing crisis, human trafficking and election stealing.

It's more just asking people to think about things logically. It is 100% going to be either Biden or Trump as our next president. Absolutely nothing is going to change that.

Now, as the absolute best case scenario in regards to Palestine, is Trump will continue the same level of support as is going on now but it's more likely he would escalate things to make it worse. On top of that, he will 100% make things worse for Americans right here in America.

Do you want your shit sandwich to come with a bag of potato chips you may not like and a soda you do like or do you want your shit sandwich to have toxic sludge on it and come with someone stabbing you with a shard of a Nickelback CD?

Because, believe it or not, people can have different views on different subjects.

But if you want to know the actual, functional difference between this decision and Roe v Wade? 4 whole justices.

A 5-4 decision is a lot murkier than a 9-0. I also think the ballot removal was very blatantly doomed to fail from the very beginning. Two different cases have two different outcomes and two separate sets of opinions. Go figure.

I'm referencing what happens here because what happens here is mirrored on the internet at large, in the media, and in the Biden campaign. The same dismissive, condescending, and fear reliant strategy is used.

This topic is meant to vent and to point out what I think it happening. It's obviously not going to change anything. But I do think it's worth talking about to see whether other people feel the same way and to see if there's any possibility of discussing a solution.

I think there's a real answer to this question, which is: "Of course these things should be challenged and put through the process, it's literally what the courts are for"

And there's an answer for things that are very clearly politically motivated: "You should really only start a process like this if you're sure that you can win, because otherwise you're going to show up in a campaign ad that says you 'tried to destroy democracy by taking choice away from the people, only to be struck down 9-0 by the Supreme Court'"

The argument was constitutionally sound. Someone who incited insurrection cannot be president, and it says nothing about an insurrection conviction. Its not politically motivated for a judge to believe Trump is responsible for the insurrection attempt on Jan 6th.

At this point, we all know it's going to be Biden vs Trump on the ballot.

I can't imagine there's any significant amount of people out there that still need to be convinced one way or the other.

We all know who we're voting for. No on is having their mind's changed at this point.

Only question is will the "Not Trump" voters come out in full force a second time.

Maybe by some interpretations. The Supreme Court seemed to disagree 9-0. If it was 5-4, even 6-3, you might have a convincing argument for an unfair or unjust ruling.

How many, exactly? Are the deaths spread out among the whole country, or are there specific states where the deaths are clustered? Because if not enough of those Christofascist bastards ended up winning Herman Cain Awards (or died by other means, such as old age, cancer, "Hold mah beer" stunts, getting killed by people who were defending themselves from them, etc.) in the right places, then from an electoral standpoint, Trump's horrendous botching of the US's response to COVID (such that I can honestly say that he is directly responsible for having killed millions of Americans) won't have hurt him much, if at all.

Once again the democrats are fumbling their counter strategy and handing him victories he never should have gotten. They literally took him off the ballot as a symbolic gesture, and now the Supreme Court slapped them down 9-0.

Trump now has that ammunition to run on. That 9-0 court decision in his favor is going to run very well in campaign ads, even if the truth is that he's still under legal trouble in dozens of other cases and situations.

If Trump loses 30 cases, but that one case still stands as a 9-0 victory, all he has to do is go up there in front of his followers and brag about that 9-0. His followers will eat it up, spread it around, use it as proof that they're "still not tired of winning."

It was a massive, massive blunder to do that..

Please. We all know he declares and repeats stories about victories that don't exist all the time. The reality of an actually victory is completely optional.
