Pixie is gonna completely balance the game by making every match random, huzzah

Calling it that pixie will be a bad card that still gets nerfed in a month because it feels bad to be high rolled by it

Its ironic that Hope and Pixie are released at the same, with kinda opposite methods of cheating out power

Theyll obviously still work great with each other but neither makes the other one better

Yeah I see Pixie as being a worse Mr Negative to be honest but we'll see how it goes. Sure it'll be OP when it high rolls but how often is that happening.

I think someone will crack it and figure out the right mix of costs and card draw

PIxie works so well with the new Adam Warlock for example

Im excited for Pixie since she can make some low cost very strong cards you can combo with Caiera or Armor. RNG for her, but shes got a lot of potential provided you dont run into Mobius every game anyways. What even happens if you play your own Mobius first? Does he cancel out the enemy Mobius?

Two mobii means all cards are their original cost for everyone

How would War Machine NOT be OP? Giving every card the Jeff treatment is amazing, Jeff himself is already OP!

As for Mockingbird, I think she needs to be 10 power so theres at least some counter to her.

Got Cull, Spider-Ham, Chibi Mobius Variant and then finally Pixie. Not terrible I guess, but wonder if maybe I shouldve used tokens on her instead. Ah well whatever Ive got her and thats what matters

That last week was the first time in a long time I only got 8 missions done

I think that last set of releases wasn't doing it for me. Hopefully the Hope Summers block is better

Need to figure out a deck for Pixie now. One of my first matches she turned my Mobius into a 6 cost ouch

The fact cards can shuffle to the original cost seriously blows though. Some matches she doesnt do anything because of it

If I had Pixie (I won't be drawing for her) what I'd want to do with her is run a deck with all lows and then like 2-3 6 costs that combo together where you get a lot of value by being able to play multiple 6s. I'm thinking a destroy deck with Knull + Arnim Zola + Death and a bunch of 1-3 destroy cards or something. Or maybe like Onslaught + Blue Marvel + Spectrum in a cheap ongoing deck

what happens if you negative after pixie or vice versa?

I would imagine they just resolve in order you played them. So flip and then invert or invert and then flip.

Most Mr Negative decks flip everything to cheap costs so I'd imagine Negative -> Pixie is mostly irrelevant and that Pixie -> Negative just has the neat feature of making Negative go up to 5 or 6 cost sometimes.

But not positive. It would be consistent with district x behavior though

Pixie is like double RNG because first you have to draw her to play her and then you gotta hope she actually changes the cost of cards and she doesnt always do that. I have no idea why shes a 2/1 when you can play her and still have all your 6 cost stuff be 6 because they swapped cost with other 6 costs. I mean I get she could be broken if she guaranteed you could have multiple 0-2 cost 6 cost cards, but Mobius counters her anyways as it is. Maybe eventually Ill see a good deck to use for her

Thats why I think just splashing a few high costs in a deck of low costs is the way because it tempers the rng a bit

If you have a proper curve you're just gonna have a random assortment of stuff. If it's a bunch of 2-3s and only a few 5-6 then the downside is limited cause you're only going to get a few dead draws at worst

Hey just got a game where I got a 0/20 Infinaut using Pixie. That one was nice. Still experimenting around with her

Hope with a High Evo deck seems like her best home for now

I really think theres gonna be a great Surfer deck with her too, but High Evo is just such an easy way to get huge power with her I cant be bothered to experiment right now

SD sure likes changing things randomly. Their video for the season is already not whats gonna be happening for Spotlights/releases apparently. Kittys spotlight variant is different, Ms Marvels spotlight variant is different and they moved her to Cannonballs week instead of her being the same week as Mockingbird

Jeez Hope is a lot stronger than I thought in that case. I thought it was only able to trigger once a turn.

I'm already getting sick of running into this Hope deck. It's basically just the old Elsa deck but using Hope instead of Elsa.

It was already my plan because it seemed obvious to me, but apparently some big streamer used the deck and won a lot so now everyone is copying him.

Are these devs ever going to learn that cost reduction and extra energy are too strong of effects? Hope having vanilla stats and giving 1-3 extra energy a turn is insane. Did they forget you can move cards out of her lane or something?

I'm so confused how this card got released compared to other energy giving cards like Electro.
