Transportation isn't really advancing fast if you leave out that AI nonsense. In general it's been the same for over 100 years. We're still taking rockets to space. Come on now we should have had space ships decades ago

This. We thought we would have all this cool stuff. Instead the new stuff was information based and our big prize was the internet. We all see how that turned out. :)
