The worst part about police misconduct is that it's a lose/lose for the victim and public as a whole. Most of the time they're not held accountable, and on the rare occasion they are, it's the city that gets sued and the public (which includes their victim/s) who has to foot the bill - after already footing the bill for that cop's salary to begin with.

Were I just a little more cynical I'd say it's the perfect scam. Who else can get away with assaulting/murdering their employer?

Perhaps any settlements the cops/city on their behalf, should come out of the Police Pension fund. That way they feel it enough to get other cops to police their own since they don't want their pensions getting wrecked.

damn. my best friend from school moved to Georgia a few years ago and he's from Mexico originally. I hope him and his family decide to move elsewhere (ideally back to Michigan)

First illegals I knowingly met where actually white. They where German and from what they told me they partially came over here to prove a point of how sorry our immigration system is.

They wherent the brightest. They liked to take pictures with cops to prove their point. Most cops ain't bothering to check if you are legal or not for no reason.
