Continuing the pixel remaster titles as I play through them in order. I still am not much of a fan of the level-up system in this game so I turned on all the boosts to finish in just a bit over 12 hours - similar to FFI in that a few hours were spent looking for the rare enemy at the end of the game (the Iron Giant) which took hundreds of battles to find. Other than that, the platinum is pretty straightforward, just have to be aware of the missable enemies, chests, passwords, and locations as the game progresses, and get a weapon and magic spell to max level. Always nice to see Minwu and Ricard again, as well.

Time to jump into Final Fantasy III soon as the next TrueTrophies target in March requires a 3 somewhere in the trophy or game name, and III does count for that!

FF2's pretty alright in the Pixel Remaster version. I don't think I could call it good though.

I think FFII is good. There's a lot of misunderstanding of the mechanics that makes people think you have to play it in an unfun way but it's just not true. Like FF8 I guess.

I replay FF2 every few years and I've only played the original. Underrated stuff.

I've been using the PSNProfiles walkthroughs for all of the missables. The FFII one was very good at pointing out where exactly all the missables were, so I had no problems.
